Through songs and imagination, children discover a Ferris wheel, a candy shop, pony rides and a trip on a train. While at the Fair, children become part of a marching band, ride a Merry-Go-Round, and learn two dances: Ach, Ja and Hansel and Gretel.
When children learn simple folk dances, their brains practice storing the information in patterns and sequences. This is excellent practice for pre-readers and beginning readers, who will need to have those skills to process what they read!
